Community Service Awards and flowers were recently presented to three long standing, volunteeer tea ladies who help out during the season at Waveney Sailability – Joyce Smith, Milou Pierard and Linda Brown.

Rotary has supported Waveney Sailability since its formation and after a thrilling time on the water or a chilly afternoon on jetty duties, members and volunteers alike all look forward to their tea and cakes to revive them.

Pictured are Rotary Presidents Susan Page( Gorleston), Linda Hempston ( Lowestoft East Point) and President Elect Hugh Sims (Lowestoft) with the tea ladies whose community spirit is commendable.
