Two speakers in one night

Bob Maskall, President Lowestoft East Point Richard Fox, Kieren Manson and Peter Read.
On Tuesday 30th September, Rotary Lowestoft East Point hosted two speakers with contrasting experience. First up was Chair Elect of the Board Rotary GB&I Bob Maskall who spoke about his time in the RAF. An excellent presentation as expected and full of really explosive anecdotes of his time flying and training pilots of the future on the Hawk simulator in RAF Valley. Next up was RYLA 2025 graduate, Kieren Manson, who talked about his experiences at RYLA at Grafham Water. All Rotarians were delighted by his confident and very well prepared presentation. Also present was Peter Read, a lecturer at Lowestoft College and the DofE organiser. Peter had suggested Kieren as a potential candidate to Rotary. Following Kieren’s presentation, Peter stated that he did not recognise the student in front of him as he had grown in confidence and maturity. Kieron and Peter both thanked Rotary for the opportunity to attend RYLA 2025.
Kieren’s attendance at RYLA was funded by all three Rotary Clubs in Lowestoft.
