Beach Clean
As part of the local Beach Clean project a number of members went along to Lowestoft's North Beach on Saturday 17th September and spent time clearing up all types of litter.
Fitted out with suitable gloves, footwear, plastic sacks and long reach pickers, the team moved methodically across the sand, shingle and dunes until all the bags were completely filled.
These were then placed in the bins provided with organiser Rotarian Andrew Green logging all the items in great detail. The job complete members retired to the Sparrows Nest Restaurant for some well earned refreshment.
