New president takes the helm
President for 2008/09 Barry Scaplehorn handed the chain of office to the new President Clive Robinson (Photo Right shows Barry on left and Clive on right) who then introduced his Club officers for the coming Rotary year
The Rotary Club of Lowestoft East Point held its annual Handover Dinner at the Hotel Victoria on Tuesday 30th June 2009.
President Clive thanked Barry for his hard work and excellent service and presented him with six specially commissioned Lowestoft Porcelain mugs showing local scenes.
During the meeting, and before handing over to the new President, Barry Scaplehorn inducted a new member. In welcoming Daniel Farnham into the Club Barry said, " he was delighted to be able to welcome Daniel into the East Point Club and felt it was a very good end to an enjoyable year as Club President". ......more
